You are one person who knows yourself the best. You have the power to control yourself, to empower yourself, and to control your surroundings. So why do we let other people control us, manipulate us, take over our power to stimulate our surroundings?
You're stronger than you think: We all experience moments in life where we must make a choice. A tough choice that has no logical correct answer. And at those moments, you need to listen to your gut and decide what’s best for you. It is never an easy choice. Every choice you make will have consequences. So, you analyze the situation and see if the good outweighs the bad. And when you know it’s the right thing to do, take a deep breath, stick to your thoughts, and just do it. You are the only one who needs to support your decision. You are stronger than you think.
Don't blame yourself: You are not the issue. And if there is an issue, it has to be mutual, it is a situation and can be resolved if both people want so. We all make mistakes, so the important thing is to be self-aware of them. If you messed up, don’t defend yourself. Own up to what you did and reflect on changes or what better way you could have acted during the situation. Take it a learning curve. And if the other person messed up, do not blame yourself for their actions. You are not the problem, they are, and they should be held responsible for their actions. It doesn’t mean they are a bad person.
Stick with your decisions: Stand up for yourself. If you decide to do something, stick by it. Don’t give it a second thought. You know what is best for you. Do not doubt your decision. And if ever you feel unsure about it, just think about your decisions, or talk about it with someone you can trust.
Don’t fear to express: Never fear to express yourself. Your feelings are valid. Let yourself feel how you feel and be your own best friend. And make sure you express your feelings to the right person. A person who cares about you, listens to you, and acknowledges you.
Be aware of what triggers you: Knowing your triggers can be difficult. It is not easy but important. We all have external stimuli, events, or people who can trigger our feelings and make us feel a certain way. Being self-aware and realizing what triggers you can help you mentally prepare not to react to it, keep yourself calm and together. For example, the presence of a certain person at an event can be a trigger for you because of something that person did to you in past. Being aware of their presence before going to an event can help you prepare mentally to face them; you can get yourself together and you will stay calm when you encounter that person. In this way, you would not react in an irrational way that you will regret. And in such a way, you will end up having a fun night, irrespective of their presence. So, be aware of your triggers and work on them.

FEEL, EXPRESS, BE KIND, BE GRATEFUL, BE HUMBLE BE AWESOME!
